Cover notes and changes to sums insured

You may want to send us messages or information on other matters. Please note that we cannot under any circumstances issue vehicle covernotes by e-mail, or makes changes to sums insured by e-mail.

Why not?

The reason why we cannot under any circumstances issue cover notes or change to sums insured by e-mail is not unwillingness on our part. With every best intention we cannot put these matters into effect for you unless we are able to communicate directly with your insurance company. If we cannot do that immediately then the changes you wish to make will not be put into effect.

You can however, send us an e-mail expressing your wish to make changes and as you know we will respond as quickly as possible. In such a case we will confirm once the change has been effected. Unless and until you have our direct confirmation, you may not assume that this change has been put into effect.

For the avoidance of doubt we must repeat that no changes regarding vehicle insurance or changes to sums assured are in effect until we have written to you or spoken with you.
